Working with Sarah and Kevin for their third baby girl Joey was an absolute pleasure. Sarah is a remarkable, talented, and creative person, which made it all the more interesting to see what she had envisioned for her daughter’s party. She had many unique ideas, but was not quite certain about what she wanted.
After some brainstorming, we decided to go with a Pantone color theme, inspired by Sarah’s desire for a minimal and uncluttered look. We selected a beautiful color palette of mustard, mint, and pink, and incorporated some of Sarah’s cute ideas into the overall concept.
The event was held at the Carmel Mountain Country Club, a stunning venue with plenty of natural light. Angela at Wednesday Cakes created an exquisite cake, cake pops, and cookies that perfectly matched the color scheme. We also personalized Japanese pocky boxes into Pantone cards with each child’s name. We also, displayed a snack wall with colorful Asian snacks and sweets.
The children had their own table, decorated with a colorful balloon garland and activity sheets at each place setting. We also included a bouquet of balloons and an activity for each guest to complete at every table.
I am so pleased with how the theme turned out, and everything looked beautiful. It was an absolute joy to work with Sarah and Kevin, and I wish them all the best with their beautiful baby girl, Joey.
